Mindset Coaches

Add Mindset Training Lessons for Golf!

Meta-Brain Labs enables golf coaches with science-backed neurotech tools to help their clients change self-defeating thoughts during golf play.

Our golf pilot results prove that anyone’s short game can improve by an average of 22%, in just 2 weeks.

The future of golf improvement lies within the mind and as partners we support, guide, and strengthen your ability to assist your clients to use the power of their mind to better their game.

We also help you expand revenue opportunities Including:

  • Curriculum licensing to us for repurposing in our Meta-Brain Chatbot for delivery to many golf clients wanting to better their game
  • Free up your time and earn revenue by assigning mindset programs to your clients as they independently tackle their mental game using our neurotech and Chatbot App
  • Revenue share of mindset program and neurotech headset sales
  • And of course you charge for and keep any in-person mindset lessons fees

Why?

  • The mental game of golf determines outcome, not ability
  • Self-defeating thoughts, driven my deeply held beliefs (our mindset) block technical ability
  • Jack Nicklaus agrees, “Golf is 90% mental, 10% physical.”

“The mental side of the game is just as important as the physical.”

The Science

Our research is founded across neuroscience, Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and learning theory disciplines.  As a result, we were able to reverse-engineer how human minds record and act upon programming,  We provide the tools to unlearn and relearn any pre-existing programming quickly!

  • While we hear that it takes 21 days to learn a new habit research actually reveals that it takes from two months to eight months to build a new behavior, not 21 says.
  • One of the most impactful learning strategies is “distributed practice”—spacing out engagement over several short periods of time over several days and weeks (Newport, 2007).  The Meta-Brain approach is to unlearn and relearn 2x a day for 2 weeks.
  • Neuroscience tells us that one of the brilliant aspects of our brains is we have the power to train and adapt them, through neuroplasticity.
  • Our brains make up its mind up to ten seconds before realized, according to researchers. This means we are automated without much conscious (or any) decision-making power.  To improve automated responses requires overwriting mindset code.  It’s what we help people do.

Daniel Guest, President, Meta-Brain Golf

Daniel’s passion for the game of golf has been growing his entire life, from an 8 year old hitting clubs he cut down with a neighbors hacksaw to competing at a high level. Originally from West Chester, PA,

Daniel honed his game to a single digit handicap while living in south Florida. In 2012 he founded Imagen Golf with his then teenage son to truly deliver the golf game that people always imagined. He is

the host of the Imagen Golf Podcast, a frequent speaker at industry events and the author of the best- selling golf instruction book, Unleash the Golfer WITHIN.

Daniel’s teaching philosophy is based on the experience he has gained learning from some of the best and brightest minds in the golf world such as David Leadbetter, Butch Harmon, Mike Bender, Mo Norman, David Edel and Fred Shoemaker to name a few. He is a big believer in the uniqueness of all golfers and the need to coach the individual rather than having a student conform to a certain model or method. The system that Daniel has ascribed to is a coaching philosophy that revolves around the proven, universal, and essential skills of golf. His approach to golf instruction is to teach the game using a skills-based system, to reduce variables and to coach his students on how to practice more effectively.

A system, rather than a strict model or method of instruction, allows for the golfer’s individuality to be preserved while fixing their most detrimental flaws all the while having fun!

Daniel is a dedicated USGTF, Titleist and US Kids Certified Teaching Professional who is passionate about coaching and growing the game of golf. If Daniel is not giving a lesson or conducting a clinic, you will probably find him working on his own game or playing ice-hockey with his long time teammates. Daniel believes in an all-encompassing, balanced approach to coaching his students towards reaching their true potential.
